Story board, transitions, and voice over.

Voice-over Script.

During The bike and bike-against house scenes (1st 20 sec)
Despite Public Transportation’s increased development and expansion, it continues to isolate Pedestrians and Bicyclists. The solution for the Lansing and East Lansing areas would be a bike sharing program. These programs consist of a network of bicycles strategically distributed around a city for low-cost use.

During the rising house-tops scenes (2nd 20 sec)
This type of system would enhance and expand upon existing public transportation, providing increased mobility with a minimum of necessary infrastructure. This stimulates development by allowing easier access to business. Studies show that for dollar invested in public transportation returns up to 6 dollars in economic benefit. The program-users will also see direct benefit, saving thousands of dollars per year that would otherwise be spent on fuel, parking, insurance and other costs.

During the breaking up cloud” scenes (40-50 seconds)
Bike-sharing programs also reduce the number of cars on the road. The majority of automobile trips are to locations 2 or fewer miles away. It is trips like this which bike-sharing would be most suited for. By decreasing these medium-distance trips, emissions can be seriously reduced.

Return to bike (last 10 seconds)
Fewer cars on the road also means less congestion, especially during peak traffic periods.
Additionally, Bicycling promotes an active and healthy lifestyle. The health benefits of riding bikes are well documented.

  1. STORY:
1: What message is being communicated?
bicycles should be made publicly available, to cut down on traffic and driving related accidents, also promote healthy living

2: Is the story complete? Is there a clear beginning, middle
and an end? Does the story make sense?
    yes indeed

3: What are suggestions for editing or adding developments
    in the story line/message?
im not sure how the words and the imagery go together? the words don't seem to reflect the imagery, but i can see the two going together

    DESIGN AESTHETICS:
4: How is the use of color, space, type and hierarchy adding
to or distracting from the message?
the red might be a little strong for me, but it is definitely a statement

5: What are suggestions for editing or adding elements?
i really like how simple and clever the animation is

    MOTION:
6: Does the story board detail motion and transitions
    between elements?
    yeah fosho

7: How are the proposed ideas for motion and transitions adding
to or distracting from the message?
the animation doesn't really add to the message, but it is strong as an element

8: What are suggestions for editing, adding or experimenting
    with motion?
i wish you could make the animation and the voice information reflect each other more, maybe the arrows become roads with a traffic jam and then it turns to the red bike again, for example

    TIME:
9: Do you see areas in the storyboard where timing can
    enhance the message?
it seems like there is more voiceover than animation, but im sure you have that figured out

    SOUND:
10: Are there notations about sound? Is there music?
    Voiceovers? Sound effects?
